ROBIN IN THE HOOD FESTIVAL – Great way to start off the summer Festivals

This was Romantic Designs first year participating in the Robin in the Hood Festival in Elmira and it was a wonderful weekend. We had beautiful weather and great crowds but the best part of this Festival has to be the venue. Gibson Park is a perfect fit for this themed Festival and the grounds are spectacular.  Can’t wait for next year.

St. Thomas Boasts of another Art Success Story

The Appreciation of the Arts just concluded their 30th Art Show and it was one of the best ever.tin manWith only standing room on Opening Night (Wednesday, May 4th) and a full parking lot, the attendance this year was a “WIN”.  The selection of art mediums included everything from a sculpture made of garden pots to exquisite needle point and magnificent paintings. Featured Artists were recognized in the fields of both visual and music. Also new this year were the live art demonstrations throughout the day on Thursday and Friday.

“We had people through every day.  Everyone kept calling us St.Thomas’s best kept secret.”

” I live in Ingersoll and I heard about this Art Show through a neighbour of mine. She said once I attend I will make it a yearly destination….she was right!”

” What an all inclusive show this is. Not one piece of Art is displayed poorly. Congrats to the organizers.”

“A pleasure to view.  Makes me proud that St.Thomas has something to boast about.”

Committee members are already planning for next year.
